Lindsay Lohan Suing Pitbull For Using Her Name In His Song

Lindsay Lohan is no stranger to suing others. Remember when she sued E*Trade for using a baby named Lindsay that she thought was used to poke fun of her? Now she is suing singer Pitbull for using her name in his hit summer song, Give Me Everything.

The lyrics in question says the following: “Hustlers move aside, so I’m tiptoein, to keep flowin’, I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan.”

The name-drop references Lohan’s stint in jail in July of 2010, where she served 13 days.

TMZ reports that Lohan’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia, feels that the lyrics causes her client “irreparable harm”.

She also says that Lohan was mentioned in the lyrics, but was not given any compensation for being part of the hit hip-hop song: “The problem is they used her name without compensation in the song, and confused the public about whether or not she was a collaborator,” Ovadia said to E!

Lohan wants the song to stop playing on the airwaves, and is seeking unspecified damages.

“The lyrics, by virtue of its wide appeal, condemnation, excoriation, disparaging or defamatory statements by the defendants about the plaintiff are destined to do irreparable harm to the plaintiff,” the lawsuit reads. “A professional actor of good repute and standing in the Screen Actors Guild is suing under the New York civil rights laws, which protects people from having their name exploited for commercial purposes.”

The song hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this summer and has sold nearly 3 million copies since its release.
