When asked by People magazine if she was glad Kim found someone, mom Kris Jenner expressed her joy: "She's doing great, and I think any mom just feels happy when their child finds the person they want to be with for the rest of their lives." She adds, "That's a big step."
Is she hoping to become a grandmother anytime soon? "Definitely, absolutely. And they better not be stingy." Of course, The Kardashian mom would be a perfect role model, having reared a total of five kids!
Kim is playing it cool considering her wedding to fiance Kris Humphries, 26, is just a week away. The 30-year-old reality star, author, and designer is "very calm". "It's just her personality. She knows what she wants and she's very focused on the day and is just enjoying the process."
In fact, she is actively taking care of last-minute arrangements before her August 20 wedding day, even flying the redeye to New York for a gown fitting at Vera Wang bridal salon. Not only that, the K-babe debuted the Kardashian Kollection for Sears recently with her two sisters, Khloe and Kourtney. Many of the items were a sellout in one or two days.
With the success of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", her jewelry collection, and new clothing line, seems like the only thing Kim hasn't tackled is motherhood! Hopefully, she and soon-to-be husband Kris Humphries can make her mom's wish come true.
