Yes, it can actually get worse for Sandra Bullock when it comes to her cheating ex, Jesse James.
After publicly humiliating her just days after she won a Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side and leaving her to raise adopted son Louis on her own, James is now opening up some old wounds while on tour promoting his new book, American Outlaw.
Believe us, he'll get plenty of attention from the things he's revealing, like, (a) that he "wanted to get caught" when he was stepping out on the Speed sweetie, and (b) how all his ladies compare in the sack—including Bullock. And while it's probably time for him to let the movie star live in peace, what he has to say about their relationship is still fascinating.
Go ahead, Jesse...
MORE: It's Sandra vs. Jesse!
James swung by ABC's Nightline, where he admitted that he was aching to be found out after he'd begun cheating on Bullock during their marriage.
"I think I wanted to get caught. It was me trying to self sabotage my life," he says on the show, airing tonight.
James says that he's a new person now, living in Austin, Texas, with his kids, Chandler, Jesse Jr. and Sunny, and trying to make a fresh start with his tatted-up fiancée, Kat Von D.
"I think, you know, a marriage ending, all this crazy stuff...that was like a lesson to work on myself and fix what's wrong with me," James said. "So I don't transfer it and keep it going, like my parents did."
The Monster Garage star has since shut his West Coast Choppers shop in Long Beach, Calif., and is enjoying a more rural life, near where Bullock also owns a home. He also revealed that he moved to the same city as the actress for his daughter Sunny to have a relationship with Bullock, but says Bullock and the girl haven't had any contact in several months. He also hasn't seen baby Louis since the pair split.
"I could only cry so much about [Louis] until I have to suck it up and keep a stiff upper lip and realize, Hey, [there are] three kids that I do have," James said. "I need to take care of them and not worry about the one that I don't, you know, and I think that's the lesson," he says, adding, "I've never seen Louis since everything."
James was a bit raunchier when he visited Howard Stern's Sirius Satellite radio show this morning, where he wasn't going to get away with talking about how nice his new life in the country is. Stern wanted to talk sex. And those Nazi pictures. What James revealed shows Bullock is tougher than we thought:
First, those pictures. James explained that the infamous Nazi pics were taken 10 years ago and that he's not racist; it was only a joke. (Umm, not funny?) He also revealed his money situation with Bullock, saying the two did have a prenup but that he hasn't taken a dime from her because that's "not the way I roll." Bullock also removed his name from baby Louis' adoption papers, and he doesn't send money to him or have any part in his life.
And on to comparing Von D and Bullock in bed?
James told Stern it's "100 percent" better with Von D. Ouch.
He may have given TMI on Stern, but after all the honesty, James still said in that Nightline interview he's forgiven himself for cheating on America's Sweetheart and that he's now moved on. He adds that he's in a "constant state of discovery" and would never, ever cheat on Von D.
"I need to come out of the shadows and regain what I do best," he said. "Just because I cheated on my wife and got busted for it, and it became a whole media s--tstorm, it doesn't mean that I'm not valuable. I'm sorry it happened. I'm sorry it went down the way it did, but I forgive myself and now I can move on."
