I recently felt like doing a Colorful look, so I thought I'd share with everyone what I had came up with! I think the color combination reminds me of Flounder from The Little Mermaid. Hope you guys like!

I got a haul for y'all! Just a few things. Look out for TUTORIALS! :)

So Juls & I went OUTLET shopping at Vacaville on Monday (i think) and I've been meaning to get a perfume for the longest time now because I ran out about over a year ago (all I have left are body sprays). The only perfume I wear is Paris Hilton, I've always stuck with all her perfumes and never branched out; its like why change if you found what you love right?? But since I haven't gotten a chance to come across a good deal for any of Paris Hilton's perfumeries I checked out one of the perfume outlets. Then I found this...

YSL Perfume - Parisienne

This has a feminine floral scent to it, I enjoy the smell a lot. And Juls likes it on me too (of course I tried it out before purchasing, duh!). So juls decided to get this for me since it was only around $58 from its original retail price of $90 almost! Great deal! So as for the following, I was on Hautelook.com (which I am hooked on now btw!); was having a sale for Jane Cosmetics. I've always wanted to try their products but didnt feel like overpaying, they gave me a DRUG STORE feel to them and for them to be around $10-$18 for certain products... I just felt like it wasn't worth it, but on Hautelook all the products were $5 or LESS! so I hopped on the band wagon and chose some stuff! hehe.

I've been wanting Urban Decay's 24/7 eye pencils foreverrr now, well maybe not forever. But after hearing so many great reviews and seeing so many tutorials of these babies being used, I just HAD to get my hands on some! lol. So I saw that they had their version of all 10 24/7 eye pencils for half the size at $39 instead of the FULL SIZED set for a whopping $99! O_O! that was insane, knowing I will definitely not use up all these pencils I stuck with the Jackpot Edition (half sizes). Smart thing about Urban Decay is that they made the Black Eye Pencil in ZERO full sized, since black eyeliners are a stable they WILL be used the most.

MAC Wonder Woman Collection!

So I was invited to the unveiling of Mac's recent collection, Wonder Woman, but since I am not allowed to leave the house; Juls offered to take my spot and go for me and get me what I want. This is his PUSH PRESENT to me for having Illi. How sweet huh? I know there has been a lot of conspiracy about loving or hating this collection. I PERSONALLY love Wonder Woman, so ya'll already know I had to copp' some of the items, no doubt. Since I have yet to use the products just yet I can't really judge the product itself, so I'mma just base this off the packaging and how they SEEM. The only thing I have to say is that I wish they included WW herself on the ACTUAL PACKAGING and not just on the outter boxing. But I do like the packaging itself as well, the colors flow; and comon! WW is retro, i'm glad they incorporated the RETRO look to it; as if I am carrying a OG lunchbox again, namean? I like it. Yea maybe it ain't all girly and shit, but it aint as bad as some people put it out as. But anywho, here is my stash:

I have yet to use ANY of these products, since I feel so icky and dirty what not; I'mma wait it out til we go back home and when I am allowed to shower!! THEN I'mma use them definitely, be sure I will do looks with them! But for now I'm holding off. Let me know what'chall got! And ya'll input! I know the collection isn't released until the 10th and even tho they are free for your purchase online it still takes several days to ship out. So when ya'll receive it, LMK. But for now enjoy and take care of ya'll selves.

Newly Minted Look

PROM season

so prom season has been around lately. i did one of my model's (Amy) makeup for her prom. she had a mixture of greens on her dress, the design looks almost like the Galaxy type. it was sick. she asked for a smokey, so i did a green smokey with two different tones of greens. the items will be listed under her photos. hope ya'll enjoy.

First Fashion Show Gig

hello loves!
so quick RECAP: Friday 11/20/09
i had a very sudden job; my homegirl Nita told me bout how her old co-worker was workin for a Fashion Show that night and they were short of Make up Artists. She recommended me to him; and of course i hit him up for my VERY first gig! i was excited but also kinna nervous cuz i havent had such a huge event before; didnt know if i meet up to the standards!! >.<* hahha. but anyhu, so i haul'd ass down there with all my shit and for a moment i was circling around to find the place. it was down at Vanness right across from the City Hall, in the Veteran War Building. overall it was a fun night! i had a GREAT FIRST TIME gig; and everyone LOVED my work!! it meant ALOT that everyone loved my work; as well as the Designers. i did as they requested; for the eyes to match somewhat of their designer dresses. everything was so SUDDEN that i didnt even know a thing about this Fashion Show. i just knew that it was a Charity Fund Raiser Fashion Show; for the Veterans. on with the pics! btw, the girls were all EXTREMELY gorgeouss and superrr friendly.

Model #1: Ms. Phan
i did a Smokey Purple on her eyes, cuz she was going to be in a semi-grey/purp dress.Model #2: Ms. Janet
i did a semi turquoise smokey eye on Ms. Janet here; with a touch of gold in the tear duct. She's already oh so gorgeouss already without any makeup! those are her NATURAL lashes!!! just with mascara! i know right?!?! Gorgeouss...Model #3: Ms. Hillary
i had put on a Smokey Black with a touch of Pink in the blending. No falsies cuz Model didnt want any.Model #4: Ms. Amy
for Ms. Amy i just did a simple gladiator look; since her outfit looked very much like a gladiator. i had mainly gold e/s with some smoked out red (desginer's request). Amy was such a sweetheart! we were straight choppin' it up bout VH1's Tough Love & For The Love of RayJ, hahaha...Model #5: Ms. Liz
now, with Liz; i went a little different with the eyeliner. i winged out the bottom liner as well for a semi-Egyptian princess look cuz her dress looked very much like it. Also stacked on TWO PAIRS OF FALSIES; for that extra BLAM! and may i say; her dress was HOTTTT! *sizzle* on her. i think her look was my favorite out of all the looks i did that night =]Model #6: Ms. ???
i totally forgot her name! im so sorry!!! but she had the same purple as Ms. Phan (M #1) smoked out with a hint of gold all over her lids. Of course plus them falsies!! duhhh! gotta look GLAMOROUS.Me with few of the models.here is one of the Designers and i (i totally forgot his name!!); but he is SUCHHH A SWEETHEART! he LOVE LOVE LOVVVVVED my look on Ms. Janet (M #2). we were kind of matching too! haha.....here is Ms. Phan (M #1) with Connie the designer for all the black outfits u see the gals rockin.behind the scenes; the green room where THE INSANITYYYY was all at!!! crazyyyyy; but at the same time a great thrill!!! hehe. Ms. Amy (M #4) getting touched up.some of the gals w/ the designer (far right) before they hopped on stage to show off the fits. she did the green outfits; the one with Ms. Liz (M #5) with her bare back showing. awesome designs riiight!?!?the girls on stage with the pieces + the Designerafter the pieces were shown. here the hostess and host trying to get the audience all HYPED up for more designs!it was OVERALL a great experience! i can't wait for much more to come!!! hehe. i had sooo much fun; and everyone was EXTREMELY nice! esp. all the models!!! they were all so sweet to me =P i hope to see some of u guys soon again! thanks for the lovely time! n e hu, hope this blog was good enuff to entertain u loves! until next time. toodles! *deuce deuce*
