Vacheron Constantin Unveils the New Malte Lady Watch

As one of the first watchmakers in the world to introduce the elegant tonneau-shaped timepieces, Vacheron Constantin decided to pay tribute to their 1912 initiative and create a new collection of luxury watches for ladies, featuring the aforementioned design style.

Called Malte Lady, the collection was unveiled at the 2013 SIHH together with two other luxe lines, the Patrimony and Métiers d’Art.  The watch is dedicated to those delicate women who prefer wearing smaller, more feminine timepieces, as its case measures only 28.30 x 38.75 mm. To add even more glamour to the creation, Vacheron Constantin decided to decorate the bezel and the dial with over 10 carats of dazzling diamonds.

The strap is available in either fine satin or Mississippiensis alligator leather, and the buckle represents yet another touch of elegance and finesse. It is shaped as a half Maltese cross made of the same material as the case, and it can come with or without extra diamond decorations.
