Do You See That Hole?

I haven't even been in Italy for a full day yet and I have already been put through the most ridiculous scavenger hunt.

The picture from my last post, remember that? Remember those mountains? Now imagine driving up one of them in a very zig-zag-like motion, with trees lining the edge and very green, very present, summer leaves.

Then a guy telling you to find a hole, the size of your pinky finger nail at the top of that mountain. Okay, from where you're driving it's the size of your pinky nail, but from up close it is apparently pretty darn big. It was blown out during WWII by a bomb. You can see straight through that part of the mountain into the blue sky that's behind it.

Cool story or not, it took me a good 10 minutes to find that hole. That should be one of those tourist attractions where you stop, look out over the distance while standing between the opening of the trees. Then there should also be a sign that says:
