Over the last week and a half we have been working non-stop on our wedding invitations. I wanted to make my own. It's cheaper that way. It only cost us - after paper, printing, reprinting, envelopes, and addressing - around $150. That's pretty unbelievable for invitations. Oh, and did I mention our save-the-dates only cost me $56? We're saving bundles here. Well, sort of! There's this tiny little thing called the reception that will cost us an arm and a leg. And then another leg and a finger. I think it will be a great time though, and totally worth it. (Totally worth it, totally worth it, totally worth it, totally have to talk myself into thinking it will be totally worth it. Ha!)

The invitations are tied together, stuffed and addressed. Some have been mailed and the others will be given out this weekend and over the next little bit. Yup, we're handing our invitations to people. Why spend money on postage when we see some of these people every week? Saving money, baby. That's what it's all about! Also I get to put whatever name I want on the envelope without embarrassing someone in front of the mailman (or mailwoman).

We have this really cool RSVP too. It's a postcard. We debated on the picture to use for the front. Do we do a cute one of us? A place we've traveled? Maybe Lucy gets her modeling debut? Instead we settled on something that we thought went with the whole postcard idea. It's supposed to be from the place where you're visiting. So this is what we used. Hope you like it! ~ And happy wedding planning to everyone out there who I know is doing the same! ~
