Angelina Jolie made a visit to Tunisia Tuesday, and since humanitarian visits are widely known as terrible opportunities to ask Hollywood superstars about the things the people really want to know -- things like how much she really hates Jen Aniston, really, or whether or not her uterus is occupied -- we'll have to make do with what we have. Namely, supplied photos.
See the one above? Fun fact: it was taken yesterday at a refugee camp about eight kilometres from the Tunis-Libyan border. That's cool -- but all we're really interested in is Jolie's arm tattoo. If you look super closely -- and happen to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the actress' collection of body art -- you'll notice that she's added an extra line to the piece on her upper arm.
Jolie's made a tradition of inking the geographic coordinates of all her children's birthplaces on that arm. So an extra line has meaning -- maybe!
Wonderwall was the first to find significance in inspecting Jolie's new ink. We're unable to zoom in close enough to grab the exact coordinates -- but the first number is 35 degrees north, which Wonderwall notes could refer to Algeria. It could also refer to Brad Pitt's home state of Oklahoma. Or, maybe just the location of a totes badass tattoo parlour.
A friend of the actress told People magazine that adoption speculation is false -- thus opening speculation up to a variety of other possibilities. (A surrogate? Or the tattoo parlour suggestion above?)
We expect we'll soon have our answer, though -- even if Team Jolie has yet to comment. Just scan the next paparazzi photo of the Pitt-Jolie litter and see if you can count more than six kidlets.
